The FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out) is a common affliction that our valued Guests experience when they think that they are missing timely news about important updates here at Walt Disney World Golf.
Seven years ago, we introduced the game of FootGolf on Disney's Oak Trail Golf Course, our 9-hole walking course. Since then, the game's popularity has exploded as a new group opportunity for players of all ages and skill levels. At its heart, the game requires only basic skills, essentially just the ability to kick a soccer ball.
Both our pro shops will feature a limited-edition run of custom-designed logo and Disney character-inspired golf headcovers, now exclusively available for purchase!
At our Walt Disney World Golf Courses, we are fortunate to have two world-class golf instructors on our team! Michael Schlager, PGA, our Director of Instruction, based at Disney's Palm, Magnolia and Oak Trail Golf Courses, and Chris Johnston, PGA, Golf Instructor, based at Disney's Lake Buena Vista Golf Course. Together, Mike and Chris bring our Guests over 70 years of combined golf instruction experience, leveraging their immense passion for teaching, to work with golfers of all skill levels to improve their abilities and their enjoyment of this game that we all love. Having two instructors with such long-standing experience is a combination rarely found at most golf facilities, and we are thrilled to have them with us!
At Walt Disney World Golf, we are always looking for ways to expand access to the game that we love, especially for junior golfers who may otherwise lack that access.
For many years, the Walt Disney World Golf courses have been certified by Audubon International as Cooperative Wildlife Sanctuaries. We take great pride in this accomplishment as part of our commitment to environmental stewardships across our facilities. Our golf courses are designated and accredited by the Audubon Cooperative Wildlife Sanctuary program, which helps guide our agronomic maintenance planning with a focus on the environmental effects of our actions.
Walt Disney World Golf operated by Arnold Palmer Golf Management is excited to announce completion of the most extensive reimagination of Disney's Magnolia Golf Course since its debut in 1971.
