At Walt Disney World Golf, they are always looking for ways to expand access to the game, especially for junior golfers who may otherwise lack that access.

Youth on Course is a nonprofit organization that began in 2006 in Northern California when a member who could not afford junior green fees walked into Poppy Hills Golf Course in Pebble Beach. That day his round was subsidized so he only had to pay $5 per round.

The core purpose of Youth on Course is to eliminate the barriers facing junior golfers due to the costs of playing golf. Through its associations with local Allied Golf Associations and golf courses, Youth on Course now provides access for over 190,000 junior members, ages 18 and under, at nearly 2,000 golf courses across the United States and Canada, for $5 or less per round.

In addition to the on-course access program, Youth on Course provides off-course opportunities including college scholarships, internships, mentorship and leadership.

Walt Disney World Golf will support Youth on Course with a discounted rate program at Disney's Oak Trail Golf Course (family-friendly, 9-hole walking course) from May 1st to December 31st, 2024. A round of golf will be available for $5 per junior member.
