Walt Disney World Golf is excited to announce it will host teams for the 2022 PGA Junior League Golf season. This program provides "a fun, social and inclusive opportunity for boys and girls ages 13 and under to learn and enjoy the game of golf."

Notable ambassadors for the program include professional athletes like Rory McIlroy, Rickie Fowler, Michelle Wie, Lexi Thompson, Steph Curry, and Alex Morgan.

Each league team includes eight to twelve players with a PGA or LPGA Professional captain. Michael Schlager, PGA Director of Instruction, will captain the Walt Disney World Golf team, assisted by select golf professionals.

League structure typically includes four to seven local teams. Players wear numbered uniforms and compete in two-person scramble format over nine holes, with matches scored on wins, ties, and losses in three-hole segments called "flags."

Practice sessions occur Tuesdays and Thursdays from April 12 through June 9, 4:30-5:30 p.m. Matches are scheduled Fridays, May 13-June 10, 5:15-7:30 p.m.

Cost: $449 plus tax per player, including jerseys, golf balls, bag tags, and nine weeks of coaching.
